„In a garden” is a staged fantasy on the themes of Stanisław Moniuszko’s songs. Let us take you on a trip outside of town, into a world unspoilt by civilisation, where life goes on from dawn to dusk to the accompaniment of birds singing. There, in a vibrant garden that bursts with life you will witness musical intrigues, games, frolics, and sentimental exploits. This fantasy journey into the depths of a garden of a noble estate of yore brings to mind a summer’s holiday in Ubiel, the composer’s hometown, while the careful selection of lyrics made by Moniuszko himself and contemporary music arrangements by Rafał Kłoczko guarantee a refreshing encounter with the songs of the author of Songbook for Home Use.

„In a garden” is an exhilarating and unpretentious concert offering the audience a music experience of the highest quality from a young and dynamic group of soloists of the Opera Academy.
